Although Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. was founded as a plastic injection moulding business, it is now mainly in the metal injection moulding (MIM) business. Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. utilises the technologies cultivated in the plastic moulding business to establish and develop ultra-precision MIM, μ-MIM® technologies.
What is μ-MIM®?
μ-MIM® is a series of technologies related to the production of fine and ultra-high-precision MIM products established by Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd.. The μ-MIM® technology, which includes material development, moulding technology, sintering technology, and quality control technology, will realise mass production of metal component designs that other production technologies have given up.
Porous metal
We develop/manufacture not only dense MIM metal parts but also porous metal parts. We provide different types of porous materials depending on the porosity and material requirement.
Contract measurement & evaluation technology
By utilising the world’s leading measurement and analysis equipment, we have established an evaluation system that is speedy and certain that leads to the speedy research and development projects.
Equipment list
Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. has enhanced the range of equipment for quality control. We analyse the data measured by optical three-dimensional measuring system, X-ray CT measurement system, SEM, etc., and evaluate the dimensions and geometry of fine metal components with a complex design. In addition, we have equipment for trial production to flexibly respond to new requirements.
